The Imaginary Penalty is the new show by Federico Buffa: a play that starting from sports stories becomes a historical, poetic and musical canvas.

Federico Buffa is a great italian storyteller, journalist and sport commentator that will narrate about an unexpected event which changed a mach result such as a mephor of an event that has changed a whole story life.

In a place with no time and space, Federico Buffa will show us cross-road characters that narrate about themselves going from Sendero Luminosoto to George Best, from Leo Messi to Pelè. Stories and series of events connected one to another like Elis Regina and Garrincha with the musical accompaniment by Alessandro Nidi.

In the background there is a house and the Beatles Sergeant Pepper cover. From that house some kind of angel appears and she is Jvonne Giò. On the stage with Federico Buffa there are also an eccentric actor played by the director of the show Marco Caronna and the pianist Alessandro Nidi: traveling companions to discover how that penalty changed everybody’s life.
