The event articulates four key themes of the Landscape Architecture which also correspond to the four sections of the Prize:
Landscape projects, of various scale, realized in urban contexts, both national and international. The interventions concern landscape redevelopment of urban spaces, metropolitan areas of fringe, green in the dense city. Speakers include: Michele Roveri for MC Architects, Michel Desvigne, Andreas Kipar, Antonio Belvedere for Renzo Piano Building Workshop, SLA Architects, Paolo Palmulli for AG&P, Made Associati, Paolo Michieletto, Andrea Milani, Paolo Ghezzi, Fabio Daole, Margherita Brianza e Luca Manzocchi for P’ARCNOUVEAU and Claudio Raviolo for Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel.
Overview of opportunities that landscape design can offer today as a tool for economic, environmental and social development. Experiences and skills of those who, today, working in the field are involved in integrating the design and quality of the urban landscape with its economic-social and above all environmental effects aimed at improving the quality of urban environments and therefore of quality of life.
For this section Maurizio Varratta present the Prysmian Headquarters project.
For the first time in this edition it is Tourism Landscape section, that aims to deepen how a landscape can be modeled, respecting the environment and biodiversity, through a series of material and symbolic transformations to integrate the services of hospitality. Projects by CZ Studio Associati, Agence TER, Antonio Stignani for PAISA’ and Enzo Eusebi will be presented.
Section that collects projects of play areas both in Italy and abroad, places that in general can be defined as spaces for the promotion of active aging. Elger Blitz, Emilio Faroldi and Ebbe Lykke for Glifber & Lykke will illustrate their experience
