MINI Countryman Set
MINI & Triennale Creative Set is the space of creativity and experimentation that aims to enrich the offering of the Triennale Design Museum, of which MINI has been Exhibition
Partner since its inception. For Design Week, this space has been chosen by MINI to inaugurate the MINI Countryman Set.
The installation engages the public in a seductive journey through the iconic elements of the MINI Countryman at the end of which the vehicle itself appears. The visitor first walks through the hallway whose walls display, to the right, a series of photographic panels with details that reproduce the characteristic features of the car’s design and, to the left, the same details reproduced in graphic format.
The “tunnel” leads to a large room from whose ceiling hang three progressively bigger curtains composed of hundreds of small square panels hooked one to the other: the front of the panels display three printed photographic images of the MINI Countryman, the back their project development equivalents (sketches of interiors, illustrations of the car and its clay model).
The visitor is invited to actually go through these curtains and discover the real thing, the car itself, behind them. Other elements cover the walls of the room to complete the installation, including the original MINI design formula. Gspot Flagship Store
