International Branches

Between 2006 and 2010 the Foundation embarked on an important project to develop and decentralise its international activities, setting up a network of new branches.

Over the past four years La Triennale di Milano has been heavily engaged in a process of expansion abroad, implementing internationalisation strategies with the aim of reinforcing its mission as a driving force behind Italian culture, design, architecture, fashion and art, but also in the world of business, tourism, and everything that Italy represents around the world.

Great exhibitions, conferences, and events have resulted from the work of Triennale Tokyo and Triennale Incheon, two great cultural centres in the Far East.

Triennale di Milano Tokyo

Triennale Tokyo was set up in December 2006 in Japan, where it runs a “Spazio Design” at the ShiodomeItalia Creative Center. La Triennale puts on design, art, and fashion exhibitions in this exclusive setting to promote and advance Italian culture.
