TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR USE OF THE PORTAL
Fondazione "La Triennale di Milano" 

1) PREAMBLE

• The www.triennale.org portal is designed for information purposes;
• Depending on the type of use (browsing the site or registering on it), business and individual users who register on the portal or browse on it are subject to the following general conditions and methods of use;
• Users who do not agree with the general conditions and methods of use of the portal, in their entirety, or who have not understood them, should not proceed with the use of the www.triennale.org portal;
• These premises form an integral part of the terms and conditions of use of the portal;
• With regard to these terms and conditions for the use of the portal and conditions for use of the community, the terms “portal” and “site” are to be considered as synonymous;
• Use of the www.triennale.org portal is free of charge, except for telephone or other costs required for connection to the network, which are at the user’s expense;

2) VARIATIONS

• Fondazione La Triennale di Milano reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time;
• Any variations made will be effective after notification has been given through publication of the new general conditions on the www.triennale.org portal;
• If you do not wish to accept the new General Terms and Conditions, you should not continue to use the portal;
• If you continue to use the www.triennale.org portal after the contractual variations have been posted, your use of the site indicates that you have agreed to be bound by the new terms and conditions of use of the portal. 

3) HOW TO USE THE PORTAL FOR ACCESS, REGISTRATION, PASSWORD, SECURITY, and COMMUNITY USE

• To use the portal services, you need to pre-register on the www.triennale.org site;
• Registered users (adults only) can access all areas of the site and interact with its content;
• By browsing through the sections of the site, you can see all the content of the site;
• To register on the portal, you must be at least 18 years of age and in possession of the faculties required by law to undertake commercial actions and enter into contracts;
• The user must make sure that the information provided at registration, or at any moment thereafter, is complete and correct;
• Any changes in the data provided must be made by updating your personal profile;
• During registration for use of the site, you will be asked to create an ID and a password;
• The password you enter, your ID, and their use, are strictly confidential and personal;
• You are responsible for logging out before leaving the site in order to protect the information you have provided;
• You will be responsible for all your activities and the orders you send using your userid and password;
• If you are aware of, or suspect that, any third party might know your password, you must immediately change your password and verify that all orders made and data provided are correct.

4) LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

• Fondazione La Triennale di Milano declines any responsibility for improper use of the portal by users and for failure to comply with these conditions;
• The site is made available by Fondazione La Triennale di Milano with no warranty or issuance of any specific license. The user of this site assumes all risks of using the Internet and computer applications (hardware and software);
• Fondazione La Triennale di Milano is not responsible for and accepts no liability for any viruses, malware, or any problem that might arise from you browsing the Internet, since this is independent from the operations of Fondazione La Triennale di Milano itself;
• You must ensure that you have full computer protection (antivirus, firewall, etc.);
• In particular, Fondazione La Triennale di Milano declines all liability relating to the following:

a) incompatibility of the site with your equipment, software, and telecommunication links;
b) technical problems, including site errors and interruptions;
c) attacks you may be subject to while browsing the Internet (including, but not exclusive to, viruses, malware, etc.);
d) damage to the equipment/software you use for browsing;

5) SERVICES NOT INCLUDED

• The services provided by the site do not include the provision of a computer or other equipment required for accessing the site;
• To use the site, you must be able to log onto the Internet and have all the connection equipment required;
• All telephone or other costs are at your expense.

6) INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

• All material on this website, such as graphics, icons, logos, images, digital downloads, data compilations, software, video, and data sheets (the list is by way of example only but is not exclusive) is the property of the Fondazione La Triennale di Milano or of partners or third parties who have authorised Fondazione La Triennale di Milano to use it;
• These Terms and Conditions of Use do not provide for the issuance of licenses or permits for use on the site of content in the form of graphics, icons, logos, images, digital downloads, data compilations, software, videos, and fact sheets (the list is by way of example only and is not exclusive); 

7) RESTRICTIONS AND PROHIBITIONS

• It is expressly forbidden to use this site for purposes such as:
a) posting any unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, vulgar, obscene or otherwise objectionable content;
b) transmitting material that encourages conduct contrary to applicable legislation, codes of conduct or similar;
c) making unauthorized access to other computer networks, interfering with the use of the site by third parties, violating any law or regulation concerning the use of public telecommunications networks;
d) interfering with or in any way damaging or restricting networks or websites connected to the site;
e) making, transmitting or storing electronic copies of material owned by Fondazione La Triennale di Milano without authorisation;
f) adding links to the www.triennale.org portal on personal or business sites without authorization;

8) DAMAGES

• Users who cause harm to Fondazione La Triennale di Milano by breaching these terms or by violating laws, regulations or similar rules will be called upon to pay damages to Fondazione La Triennale di Milano in the appropriate court;

9) AVAILABILITY OF THE SITE

• Access to the site may be subject to temporary interruptions due to repairs, maintenance or the introduction of new instruments and services. Fondazione La Triennale di Milano will restore service as quickly as possible;

10) RIGHT TO SUSPEND OR CANCEL USER REGISTRATION AND TO CANCEL USER ACCOUNTS

• Fondazione La Triennale di Milano has the right to suspend or cancel your registration at any time, and at its own discretion, in the case of violation of these conditions;
• You can cancel your account at any time;
• Cancellation by you or cancellation/suspension by Fondazione La Triennale di Milano will not affect any previously acquired rights and obligations;

11) THIRD-PARTY SITES

• For the benefit of users, the site may include links to other websites or to the material of other partners or third parties (in such cases, Fondazione La Triennale di Milano will publish links only upon authorisation of the partners/third parties);
• Fondazione La Triennale di Milano is not responsible for the content of the pages or services provided by such partners or third parties. You will need to contact them directly;

12) PRIVACY

• All data are processed in accordance with Italian Legislative Decree no. 196/03: relevant information is provided on the homepage of the www.triennale.org portal in the “Privacy Policy” section.

13) APPLICABLE LAW

• These contractual Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable rules of Italian law;
• In the event of a breach by the user of these Terms, Fondazione La Triennale di Milano will have the right to resort to legal proceedings to protect its rights in accordance with the laws in force;
