Live the Italian Way

The ability to combine high technology and design, and skill and craftsmanship, bringing together gastronomic culture and the land, art and science, history and future: these were the strengths of “The City of Man – Living the Italian Way”, the concept created by La Triennale di Milano to show Italy to the world at the Shanghai Expo in 2010.

The exhibition followed a narrative plot based on the main theme of the Expo, “Better City, Better Life”, recalling the script of a film. The aim was to offer an image of Italian cities and of our way of life, illustrating its developments and trends, as well as Italy’s economic and industrial achievements, and its historical and cultural heritage.

In a display that was fully comprehensible, intriguing for those in the know and attractive for the young.
