In the 144 pages of the volume the sociologist Peter Frase handling the hypothesis of the end of capitalism and proposes four scenarios, from the most paradisiac to the most dystopic, to show that the future is not already written and that the risks are many, like the possibilities. The relationship between equality and inequality, between available resources and distribution, between production, work and freedom that distinguishes the societies in which we live is determined by political choices. This is why action must be taken immediately to give shape to the best possible future.
