Triennale Milano

Cultural patronage
Support the institutional mission and our cultural activities firsthand, empowering us to carry out ever-changing projects. Take part in promoting the institution's heritage and history, generating value for the city and territory.
Cultural patronage is a form of participation in social responsibility, with the understanding that support for culture enables the enhancement of a common heritage”.
Regina De Albertis, board member Fondazione la Triennale di Milano with responsibility for the Patron program

The collection

Our collection of original Italian design objects is constantly growing. It now includes a collection of 1,600 pieces, from 1927 to the present, some of which are displayed in the Museum of Italian Design.

Palazzo dell'Arte

Built in 1933 on a design by Milanese architect Giovanni Muzio; restored in the 1990s by architects Gae Aulenti and Umberto Riva, and then again in 2002 under the supervision of Michele De Lucchi. The palace is maintained in its extraordinary grandeur and remains one of the most significant examples of public architecture in Milan.

Family activities

Our spaces are open to all: we organize activities related to current exhibitions and performances to get families to actively participate in our programming and introduce children to the languages of the arts.

The International Exhibition

Since 1923, the International Exhibition has been one of the most important events dedicated to design and architecture. Every three years it presents the work of artists, architects and designers from around the world.
